AL KABIR è un'antica corvetta militare della marina olandese, trasformata nel 1995 per effettuare qualqunque tipo di attività marina e sottomarina.

Questa barca, al momento libera da impegni, viene offerta sia in affitto sia in vendita.

AL KABIR si trova attualmente in un cantiere navale sul fiume Tevere, presso Roma.

Il cantiere si trova a pochi minuti dall'aeroporto internazionale di Fiumicino, il che estremamente facile la visita del battelo, in caso di interesse da parte vostra.

Deck equipment

Schmidt Industry original heavy duty electric windlass to 12om/180mm chain for 2 x 500kg anchors. New electric crane/davit from 1994. Forward awning and solid bimini cover aft deck. 2 x Viking life raft (certified till 1999) for 12 & 16 persons. 1 dive ladder. 2 x Bauer compressors (190 ltrs/min.).

Accomodation

Four levels including - Pilot house - All navigation and steering equipment to hand. Excellent all round vision. Pilot berth aft. Deck level - spacious L - shape sallon with galley aft. 1 cabin with ensuite b/room + communal b/room facilities for all guests cabins.

Guests cabins - 3 twin (upper/lower guest cabins with portholes).

Lower deck - 10 guest berth in three cabins. Also engine room & new crew cabin for 4 forward.

Refitted throughout 1995 - not luxurious, the vessel is comfortable, spacious and strong with excellent headroom and space for larger groups. The inventory of new and in most cases duplicated equipment is impressive. Quality, heavy duty systems throughout.

Original built for military purposes and later used as supply vessel for oil rigs. AL KABIR has been furbished throughout for long term living oboard, deep sea diving and successful chartering. The vessel has been very well maintened and is in excellent condition.
